Although this website is about the Firefighters of Roanoke City, and occasionally, Roanoke County, I feel I have to ask the readers of this webpage to keep the family and friends of Rocky Mount VFD members Posey Dillon and Danny Altice in your thoughts. Posey and Danny were responding to a fire call in Union Hall today (7/26/2010) when their Wagon was involved in an accident in Rocky Mount on Route 40. The tragic accident took the lives of both of these brave men. |
